Dymax Clear Mix works quickly and is very powerful, exceeding the average filtration rate and capacity of competing media by 5 times. Clear Mix stabilizes ammonia, nitrites and nitrate levels by removing nitrogenous waste such as organics, fish waste and leftover food. Cleaning and Recharge Instructions: 1. Mix bleach and clean water in a 1:1 ratio. Add the bag to the solution.2. Allow the bag to soak in the solution for a minimum of 24 hours.3. Once the bag has lightened visibly, rinse the bag thoroughly in dechlorinated water.4. After rinsing, allow the bag to soak in a new container of dechlorinated water for an additional 8 hours, minimum. 5. Rinse thoroughly again, and it is ready to reuse!
