The EMdyno dynamometer is engineered for the most demanding testing scenarios. It combines high power, high speed, premium materials, and top-tier manufacturing quality—all in one package. Its 320mm hubs feature a tungsten carbide coating, ensuring smooth operation and maximum grip. Two powerful air-cooled retarders can absorb an impressive 2600Nm of torque. The 4-axis adjustable operating length covers wheelbases from 2000mm to 3500mm, the longest in the industry! The advanced drivetrain guarantees perfect synchronization of all 4 wheels at all times, regardless of the vehicle on top. The W4-link is designed using 3D-CAD and FEM analysis to handle the expected high power and speed. Laser calibration by SKF and balancing on our in-house Schenck balancing machine minimize vibration. This ensures extremely accurate measurements and nearly maintenance-free operation. Assembled by hand by a small team of highly skilled professionals, quality is integral to its DNA! When paired with our proprietary yourdyno software, it can run pre-programmed drive cycles or even custom cycles you create. It can be used for performance tuning, ignition timing fine adjustment, pre-race preparation, driveline torque inspection, clutch evaluation, nitrous testing as well as performance product R&D. Need more powerful functions down the line? The portable ProHub models can be upgraded to AWD, delivering unrivalled testing versatility as your vehicles and projects evolve. Unmatched power, precise control and portability – that’s what sets ProHub apart. Non-coaxial Design All EM ProHub chassis dynamometers feature a non-coaxial design, which means the Power Absorption Module (PAM) sits flat on the ground with no need to adjust the module angle to match the vehicle’s camber. This design enables faster, easier installation compared to the coaxial design adopted by competitors, which is prone to vibration when the module is misaligned. Our non-coaxial layout ensures that the vertical or horizontal alignment of the module relative to the vehicle is not critical. Additionally, all ProHub units incorporate a dual constant velocity (CV) joint structure within the module extension tube. The retarder inside the module features a special offset design that prevents coaxial alignment with the vehicle, further enhancing reliability and stability. The portable 2WD ProHub dynamometer uses billet adapters for direct hub connection, eliminating variables associated with wheels and tires. This guarantees absolute precision and delivers unrivalled repeatability across all power tests. The portable ProHub dynamometer accommodates ±10° camber and 10° toe, making it compatible with both solid rear axles and independent rear suspension (IRS) systems. High-speed Operation All 2WD portable ProHub CAN Control System (CCS) models are rated for a maximum shaft speed of 4000 RPM, or a top road speed of 350 mph – depending on the vehicle’s gear ratio. The Power Absorption Modules (PAMs) for the 1000 HP, 2000 HP and 3000 HP models are equipped with integrated hub assemblies, allowing for easy positioning next to the vehicle, precise alignment and quick connection to the axle hubs. After testing, the PAMs can be easily wheeled away and stored.
