The E12 Shade Ready Socket with extended threads in ivory is a thermoplastic e12 bulb base socket with additional threading and a removable shade ring that is the perfect choice for applications where the thickness of your shade is above average. The extended threads give a little extra room. Also available for purchase are extra shade rings to "sandwich" the shade between. Strain relief/cord grip is sold separately. Also, please note that these sockets are self-locking. Do not assemble the sockets with the terminal inside before it is wired. The terminal will lock the socket permanently. This socket is intended for candelabra bulbs and is not compatible with standard e26 base bulbs, so be sure to confirm the size of the socket and bulb that you need for your project before ordering. But, if you are working with a chandelier or decorative fixture with an e12 bulb base, then this is the socket for you!
