Medium: Acrylic on canvasDimensions: 21.5 x 21.5 I am submitting two paintings which tell different versions of the same point of view.‘Little Black Dress’ shows a woman sitting al one, eyes diverted and looking into her martini while simultaneously holding a cigarette. Her finger is held to her ear as if signaling her intent. She is clearly done up and dressed for a social situation but is by herself. Why is she by herself, or is it the perspective of the person looking at her? Is she trying to avoid a boring date with both hands occupied, is she sad that she is spending another evening by herself, is she just content in her own thoughts Show more
