Medium: hand-painted acrylic collage papers Dimensions: 23.5 x 19.5 It came to my attention that many Native American girls and women go missing. I can’t imagine having a child or relative disappear. In response to my heartfelt concern for the victims, families, and tribes I chose to use my art as a platform to draw attention to this issue. Using my love of collage, I created a work of art that portrays a young Native American. She is a combination of ethnic facial traits and adornments from historic and contemporary people.
