The stock E30, E21, E28, E32, and E34 rear subframes do not allow you to align the rear wheels. Alignment is a critical point in spec E30 as well as any track, autocross, or spiritedly driven car. Adjusting your camber and toe is also a must when lowering your car. It's a night and day difference. When an E30, for example, is lowered, the car has a lot of negative camber (up to 6 degrees!). Although this is wanted by some, it can be excessive. These brackets are welded to the rear subframe on the rear control arm mounting points. You slot the original hole and have these professionally welded in place. Then using either the Garagistic eccentrics or the OEM eccentric BMW hardware the rear of your BMW can be properly aligned!
