Thanks to being made from the hardest material on Earth, these Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) nozzles deliver unmatched wear-resistance and versatility compared to all other options on the market. They are composed of thousands of tiny diamond crystals with a proprietary binder that forms a matrix of crystals joined with diamond-to-diamond bonds. And what does that mean for you? In essence, with this upgrade you’re getting ultra-durable nozzles that withstand even the toughest 3D printing challenges. You'll be able to print anything on your A1 – from fibre-filled to metal and ceramic filaments – without needing to worry about pesky materials destroying the nozzle. Precision Printing Your prints will benefit from the nozzle’s solid diamond tip which improves precision – making for more aesthetically beautiful prints compared to the stock HotEnd’s output. Smooth and Strong The PCD used in the HotEnd also provides best-in-class thermal conductivity which improves interlayer adhesion for stronger prints. And to top it all off the low coefficient of friction combined with a polished tip creates super smooth top layers with an ironing-like effect. Effortless Upgrade These magnetic HotEnds couldn’t be easier to install. The heater and temperature wires are built into the tool head so all you need to do is unclip the existing HotEnd, slot in the new one and you’re good to go. No physical adjustment to the mount or part-cooling is required. Please note: Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk of a jam. Please check your filament manufacturer’s datasheet for recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/HotEnd you choose is suitable for your use case. Please note, these HotEnds are not compatible with the Bambu Lab H2 Series printers.
