Frequently asked questions How fast does the FT-01 Max go?Eahora does not publish a figure. Its spec sheet states 'Class 3 ebike with 3-level pedal assist and throttle' and gives no mph number anywhere — we searched the spec table and the marketing bands rather than assuming the row was missing. That is an awkward gap, because Class 3 is defined by a speed. If the number matters for your state, ask us and we will get it from Eahora in writing before you order. Is it a Class 3 e-bike?Eahora says so on this model's own page, which puts it among only four of its 26 bikes that state a class at all. Whether that holds where you live is a different question: many states define Class 3 as pedal-assist only with throttle capped at 20 mph, and this bike offers both. A class is a conclusion under your state's statute rather than a label a manufacturer applies. Check Redtail's law guide and ask us if it is unclear. FT-01 or FT-01 Max?The Max gives you half again the motor (1,500W against 1,000W), half again the battery (1,440Wh against 960Wh), 65 lb more load rating (330 against 265), proper fat-tire fenders and a powered tail light — for $300. What the cheaper FT-01 keeps is a published top speed of 23–26 mph, named 21700 cells, a published torque figure and a published cycle life, none of which the Max discloses. On stock, the Max's Black was buyable on our pull date and neither FT-01 colorway was. Which colors can I actually get?Black. Eahora publishes five colorways — Black, White, Light Blue, Orange and Dark Cyan — but only Black read available on both endpoints we checked on 2026-08-24, so it is the only one listed here. Single-speed — can I pedal it?In one narrow band of speed. Eahora specifies no derailleur, no shifter and no freewheel, with a 48T chainring: there is one gear, and it will feel right at roughly one cadence. On a 90 lb moped-shaped bike that runs mostly on throttle, dropping the shifting hardware removes the parts most likely to need adjustment — but the pedals are there for the law and for emergencies, not for exercise. Is the battery UL certified?Eahora publishes no certificate, standard number or issuing laboratory for this model or any other. We searched all 162 of its product pages and all eight policy pages on 2026-08-24; the only certification statement anywhere is one FAQ sentence saying its batteries are 'fully compliant with the rigorous UL certification standards'. We will not present that as a certification. If you want documentation before ordering, ask and we will request it from Eahora in writing. What warranty applies, and who handles a claim?Eahora's published terms: 24 months on the frame, 12 on the fork, motor and battery, 6 on the controller, 3 on the charger, display, tires, saddle and other parts.
