Charles and Ray Eames augmented the interior “collage” of the Eames House with numerous objects brought back from their extensive travels.The, evidently one of their most prized ob jects of American folk art from the Applachian mountain region of the eastern United States, has stood in the centre of their living room for over 60 years. Also seen as an accessory in many of the Eameses’ photographs.The Eames House Bird is made from solid ash wood with a black lacquered or cotton white oil finish or available in black lacquered alder wood.
