Ear Left, a ceramic relief from our face fragment collection, is a small sculptural focal point that carries its own quiet presence and fascination. A small study of the human left ear, sculpted by Jacob Laoru in our Aarhus atelier. A sculptural ceramic ear that immediately invites you to hold it, to explore its weight, the anatomical form, the surface and the texture of the glaze. Each Ear Left is cast from Jacob's original sculpture and hand-finished. Since every relief is individually glazed, no two are ever exactly alike. The Ear Left you receive will resemble the examples in the images but carry its own small variations within the glaze you choose. Ear Left is available in Antique White, Warm Sand, Crystal Green, and Copper Green. Ear Left combined with other face fragment reliefs allows you to give a wall its own personal expression.
