The early intervention transitions bundle is designed for speech-language pathologists and feeding specialists who support families as children age out of Part C services and move toward preschool programs. The four included eLearning courses are Feeding as a Foundation for Speech Clarity in Early Intervention Populations, Hands-On Teletherapy: Strategies for Engagement, Intervention, and Collaboration, Building a Feeding Team in Your Community: Outreach to Collaboration, and Is it Misbehavior or Normal Child Development? Discipline Strategies that Work. Together they address the feeding and speech overlap common in birth-to-three caseloads, practical ways to keep teletherapy sessions engaging for toddlers, and how to build referral relationships with pediatricians and community feeding teams. The behavior course gives providers language to help parents tell the difference between typical toddler behavior and signs that warrant closer developmental attention. Because transitions between EI and preschool services can be stressful for families, the early intervention transitions bundle also builds in strategies for collaborative goodbye conversations and warm handoffs, so families feel supported rather than dropped when eligibility changes. Providers can work through the material between home visits, and the self-paced format fits the unpredictable scheduling common to early intervention caseloads.
