This latest tutorial is inspired by a photo I took on a walk near Windermere in the Lake District in early spring, just as the ground is starting to come to life after the long win ter. The two hikers are a vital part of the scene, as they add that bit of extra interest, and provide us with a very useful focal point, leading our eye up the old, weathered stone steps and out into the distant woods. It’s quite a busy little subject but great fun, and I especially enjoyed the challenge of painting the daffodils. Happy Painting,Geoff. Show more
