There is a place at Spanish Point where the driftwood gathers after a storm. More worn. More marked. As if the sea has worked harder there. I often think that we are the same. The more we have carried — the more character we have. Stones are not perfect. Neither are the ones you find on the shore. They have marks and patches from years at sea. That is exactly what I like about this design — it hides nothing. Silver band with a stone held by a ring of beads. No two stones are alike.
