This is the first release for Generation X-Ray Records and Eastbay's first U.S. single Eastbay formed in Japan back in January 2018. They hit the ground running releasing their first full-length album “Ronove’s Drop” September 2019, followed by EP “Purson’s Stomp” in 2020 and their latest EP “Frenemy” in 2021. They have already toured the US and played with such acts as: UNIONWAY, (USA), Buck-O-Nine (USA), LEFT ALONE (USA), The Last Gang (USA), UNION13 (USA), SMASH RAID (JAPAN), SUNSHINE DUB (JAPAN), UKULELE HIRO (USA). Side B features “Riot Squad”, a cover of the Cock Sparrer classic, by Los Angeles’ favorite Punk and Roll band, The Hellflowers. This single features Gordy Carbone of the infamous punk bands, The Forgotten and Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards. This revival of the classic punk burner features both Christina Hellflower and Gordy Carbone on vocals with guest backing vocals by Kenny Helwig formerly of Slip and The Forgotten. The Hellflowers’ “Riot Squad'' cover captures both the gritty rasp of Carbone’s unique vocal style with Christina’s powerfully melodic vocals into one hit single. Shot at the super secret Generation X-Ray office, this music video highlights The Hellflower’s signature thrashy riffs and spotlights Carbone’s notorious attitude. “I’ve always been a huge Cock Sparrer fan and wanted The Hellflowers to cover one of their songs for a long time,” adds Christina. “I knew ‘Riot Squad’ would be a perfect fit for us because it has this loud energy that grabs your attention immediately. We knew we wanted to fill out the sound so Matt asked his long-time friend, Gordy, to jump in!”
