This work was made out of inspiration by the cultural and historical significance of the Eastern Docklands and the extraordinary resulting shape. The variety of water, peninsulas a nd parks makes this work stand out. The Eastern Docklands of Amsterdam, once busy with ships and trade, have been transformed into a modern neighborhood with interesting architecture. Built in the late 1800s, these docks used to be all about industry. But now, thanks to architects like Jo Coenen, they've become a mix of old and new. Buildings like Silodam and the Python Bridge show off this mix. Today, the Eastern Docklands are a great place to live, with homes, parks, and businesses. It's a great example of how Amsterdam keeps its history alive while making room for new ideas. Show more
