Summary: This Eastman E20OOS is a fantastic guitar, a 14-fret acoustic guitar with all-solid-wood construction, and luxurious details. It’s comfortable to hold, has a sweet and warm vintage tone, and is articulate and expressive. Equally happy whether approached fingerstyle or with a flatpick, on the couch or in the studio, it’s just a wonderful instrument to play. Body: Solid Adirondack Spruce top with solid Rosewood back and sides in gloss Vintage Sunburst finish. Neck: Mahogany with a Ebony fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.68” nut width, 20 frets, Pearl Dots inlays. Hardware: Open-Gear Pingwell V93N 3+3 tuning keys, Ebony bridge, bone saddle, bone nut. Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck has a small ding that doesn’t affect playability, and the frets show minimal wear. There is the slightest amount of bridge lift (pictured), that appears very stable. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic. Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. Weight: 4 lbs.
