Recommended needle: Circular needle 4 mm / US 6 Gauge: 22 sts and 34 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm / US 6 needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches Procedure: The scarf is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, starting from the tip and increasing upwards. You begin by casting on 3 stitches and then continue increasing at the beginning and end of every row until you have 15 meters (20 yards) of yarn left or the scarf has reached the desired size.
