ProcedureThe sweater is worked from the top down. Stitches are first cast on for the front using a long-tail cast-on, and is worked back and forth down to the armhole. The back is shaped by picking up stitches for the shoulders along the cast-on edge of the front, creating the distinct shoulder line. Stitches are then crocheted up for the neck, and the back is worked in the same way as the front, back and forth down to the armhole. The work is then joined to be worked in the round and finished with a wide rib edge. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down by picking up stitches along the armhole and finished with a wide rib edge. The length of both body and sleeves can easily be adjusted.
