The mop is made of acrylic yarn, which won't decompose or break down in your aquarium. It floats on top of the water with a 3D printed float. We added a removable suction cup to the newest version, so that it may also be placed against a glass or acrylic wall in your aquarium. The 8" length works well for most species.
