Colours can vary slightly between rolls, so it is best to order enough in one go rather than topping up later. This helps ensure your carpet is cut from the same roll for the closest possible colour match. Why choose 4-way stretch carpet? Our 4-way stretch carpet lining is soft, flexible and high quality, making it ideal for DIY van conversions and camper builds. It stretches in every direction, so it wraps neatly around tricky corners and curves such as wheel arches, window recesses and door frames without the need for endless cutting and patching. Some professional converters prefer Veltrim carpet, and we do occasionally get asked about the difference. Veltrim is thicker, but it doesn’t stretch. That means more cutting, more joins, and more time and effort - especially around curves. In most cases, our 4-way stretch carpet is easier to work with, more forgiving, and still gives a great-looking finish.
