Turn on the thermometer by pressing the "ON/OFF/SCAN" button. Position the thermometer 0.59-1.97 inches from the forehead. Press the button for 1 second and wait for the beep sound to complete the reading. Wait at least 5 seconds between readings. The device will automatically shut off after 60 seconds of inactivity. To view up to 32 stored readings, hold the "ON/OFF/SCAN" button for 4 seconds. To switch between °C and °F, hold the "ON/OFF/SCAN" button for 8 seconds. Clean the probe with alcohol after use and store the thermometer in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing the thermometer to water or using abrasive cleaners.
