1.Ebi-cha (Intellectual Maroon) "Ebi-cha" is a deep brownish-red hue resembling the shell of the Japanese Spiny Lobster (Ise-ebi). In the Meiji and Taisho eras (late 19th–early 20t h century) this color became iconic as the standard color for the hakama (traditional trousers) worn by female students.
