In these drawings, Irana Douer illustrates the fascinating process of insects and snakes shedding their skin, known as ecdysis (in spanish “Ecdisis”). Just like how these creatures discard their old exoskeleton or skin to reveal a fresh, new one underneath, it can be compared to the human experience of growth, renewal, and transformation.
