Echeveria simulans is a species native to Mexico. A really different species, found in the same location as Echeveria shaviana but with tighter rose-like rosettes with frilly leaf tips. Very attractive when established. The rosettes are much like the Echeveria elegans but feature a frilly leaf. It would be best planted on a windowsill or in an unheated conservatory or greenhouse.
