Echinacea pallida's fragrant, pale pink to white daisy-like flowers with very thin, drooping petals are borne over green, lance-shaped, hairy foliage. The graceful blooms of Pale C oneflower are lovely in a meadow planting or natural border. Deadhead to promote long blooming, but leave a few seeds for the songbirds. Echinacea pallida will self sow if some seed heads are allowed to remain. Echinacea pallida is native to much of eastern North America. Echinacea pallida prefers full sun to part shade and average to poor, well-drained soil. It will tolerate heat, clay and rocky soil. Show more
