Echinodorus altlandsberg is an attractive Echinodorus cultivar producing spotted, lightly marbled leaves with distinctive lighter markings on a mid-green background. The spotting i s most prominent on younger leaves and gradually fades as the leaves mature, creating an interesting two-phase appearance as new growth emerges. It reaches a moderate size of 20–35cm.Medium light, no CO2 required, planted in substrate with root tabs. Growth is reliable and relatively fast for a spotted cultivar. Well suited to midground to background positioning in most aquariums.Plant in the substrate and use root tabs near the roots. Propagation via daughter plants on flower stems. Show more
