Since th e 2010s, SHIN SASAKUBO has been conducting his own ethnographic and cultural anthropological research in Chichibu, continuing to create music while focusing on environmental issues in Chichibu. This album features music inspired by his experiences of secluding himself in the mountains of Chichibu, the inner sanctuary of Chichibu Shrine, and the mysterious spring-fed river, where he continued to play his instrument.
