Echo’s Trout Spey series is Tim Rajeff’s offering to a growing trend in fly fishing: two-handed rods. The Trout Spey series is made for shorter lines and more compact casting strokes when backcasting room is limited and distance casting is important. The rod’s lightweight blank means fatigue is never a problem and full days on the water are never cut short. Tim Rajeff designed the Trout Spey series to be one of the most affordable and high performing Trout Spey series’ on the market, the Echo way. Blank Lightweight High Modulus Graphite Design - The blank of the Trout Spey is lightweight, features an olive green blank color, and sports a medium-fast action. Echo uses modern resin systems to create a rod blank that is strong and durable. While the Trout Spey has a slimmed down blank design, the rod remains sensitive, powerful, and high performing. Guides SiC Stripping Guides - The Echo Trout Spey has two SiC stripping guides to allow line to move through the rod with ease. These guides create low friction and low resistance when casting or retrieving line to purify an angler’s connection to the fish.Heavy Duty Chrome Snake Guides - Heavy duty snake guides add durable functionality to the design of the Echo Trout Spey. These guides stand up to abuse on and off the water. Reel Seat Anodized Aluminum - The Echo Trout Spey has a corrosion-proof black anodized aluminum reel seat designed to protect against the elements and efficiently hold a Spey reel in place without adding extra weight to the rod. A double uplocking component anchors any Trout Spey reel in place. Rod Tube Fabric-Covered Square Tube - The Echo Trout Spey comes with a fabric-covered square rod tube and rod sock to store and transport the rod safely. Echo’s square rod tube is tried and true and comes with an Echo insignia and rod model label. Warranty Echo Fly Rod Lifetime Warranty - Echo will repair or replace any defective or damaged rods for the entire lifetime of the original owner. All rods must be sent to Echo for repairs/service. As of 4/17/2019, Echo charges a $35 fee for fly rod repairs/replacements.
