This vintage Echo Plex EP-2 Delay Unit is in Very Good condition, ready to go with all required maintenance already professionally done. This tube-driven unit sounds phenomenal—lush, warm, and beautifully complex delay that is just oh-so addictive. There's a reason why these remain the standard by which so many modern-day imitations are judged. This one has some great history too—in 2000, Echoplex designer, Mike Battle actually serviced this exact unit. His signature, and the inscription “good luck” adorns the bottom of the tape cover. Too cool! In 2011, it underwent comprehensive servicing, including a replaced transformer, new caps, cleaned heads/mechanical parts, replaced rollers and drive belt, fresh tape, and a 3-prong cord for safety. Also, the footswitch was rewired for safety and an output jack was added instead of the original hardwired out cord. This Echo Plex EP-2 Delay Unit includes all fresh tubes (one new 12AX7 and two NOS 6EU7s) plus spares.
