Eckie captures the slow bloom of mold on fruit and the raw quiet of clumped space dust. Bright pink glitches across a muted grey field — a handwoven study of surfaces abandoned, sh ifted, or simply left to change. A Basny rug is hand-woven from sheep's wool in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Each piece moves through more than ten stages of making. The woven rug is then treated in cold mountain water — submerged in a wooden reservoir set in a mountain river, where a strong current runs through the fibers for up to eight hours, making them dense, tight, and durable.
