Art has always served as an extension of emotions, helping to process these shifts. The Eclipse collection captures these feelings through movement, roundness, boldness, togetherness, layers of light and dark, and intertwined, directional prints. The fourteen designs are based on original monotypes, created by painting directly onto a plate and running it through a printing press. For the Eclipse monotypes, unique textures from both natural and man-made objects such as vegetable wrappers, bubble wrap, netting, and discarded plastic packaging were incorporated. The spontaneity of this printmaking process, always with an element of surprise, brings an exciting dynamic to the collection. It will be exciting to see how the Eclipse collection is used in future projects.
