Yes, if your manifold uses standard 24V thermal actuators (the small heads that open/close each loop) — both NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) types are supported. It works with actuators from Wavin, Uponor, Rehau, Heatmiser, and other common brands. If you currently have 230V actuators, you'd swap them for inexpensive 24V equivalents. Does it need the internet or a cloud account? No cloud account is required — the controller works entirely on your local network via MQTT and its built-in web interface. Internet is only needed if you want to download firmware updates online. What happens if Wi-Fi drops or the power goes out? Outputs hold their last state if the Wi-Fi connection is lost. If power is lost, the controller restores all outputs to their last state when power returns. How does temperature control work? The EcoEdge controls the actuators (zone valves). You pair it with any Home Assistant-compatible temperature sensors or thermostats, then use Home Assistant's Generic Thermostat (or Better Thermostat) to create a full climate entity per room. Can I use fewer than 16 zones? Yes — use as many outputs as you need. Unused ports simply stay off. Does it work with ESPHome or Zigbee2MQTT setups?
