It replaces the dry-side motor portion that mounts on the outside of the aquarium glass and magnetically drives the wet side inside the aquarium. Ecotech Vortech MP10QD Dry Side Assembly Features Replacement dry-side motor assembly for compatible VorTech MP10 pumps. Replaces the external motor portion of the MP10 pump system. Useful when the original dry side is worn, damaged, noisy, or no longer driving the wet side correctly. Helps restore pump operation without replacing the complete VorTech pump package.
