The bushing is secured in a sturdy, lightweight aluminum body that is coated with a durable, show quality, gloss black powder coat finish. Factory torque specifications for the Dogbone mount are as follows: Bolts to transmission - 37 ft-lbs (50 Nm) Bolts to subframe - 18 ft-lbs (25 Nm) Please note: Polyurethane, by nature, is a harder material than factory rubber. While this does remove driveline slop and effectively transfer power, an increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) may be experienced as a result of this increased stiffness. Do not expose polyurethane bushings to engine coolant. Ethylene Glycol is known to degrade this material. If exposed, promptly wipe away ALL traces of engine coolant.
