Ecuador - Lugmapata Espresso 250g Milky Oolong, White Grape, Grapefruit, Red Apple, Cucumber, Butter Farm / Cooperative: Finca Lugmapata Producer: Familia Merino Region: Pallatanga, Parroquia Varietal: Sidea, Typica, Pache Altitude: 1600-1800masl Process: Washed Harvest Period: June - September 2021 This sensationally fresh cup with its juicy vibe and super thiccc body made us feel like we were on a lovely dinner date somewhere in the Mediterranean. Imagine staring into the eyes of your person and knowing that you will be together for the rest of your lives. That this night under a star-studded sky is merely the start of your adventure-filled life together. That is how Ecuadorian Lugmapata feels: like love, safety and hope. Of course, it tastes awesome, too. And a little weird. The good kind of weird, though. The notes in this coffee might seem like a random mix of flavours, but they work together really well! Milky Oolong (yes, the tea, get over it) is closely followed by juicy white grape and grapefruit notes, which are curiously yet delightfully followed by creamy notes of butter. This weirdly wonderful cup finishes strong with light notes of cucumber and crisp red apple.
