Assisted braking belay device which can be used in sport climbing, multi-pitches and rope access. It can be attached directly to the central harness ring; it does not need to be fi xed in place, allowing for the braking rope to be gripped with all fingers. It also has an integrated second braking tier, enabling controlled lowering by pulling the lowering lever further if there is unusually high rope friction or the person being lowered is especially light.
