Eden Sweet Corn is a hybrid sweet corn variety with even rows of bright white kernels on 8" ears. This is an augmented supersweet variety, which means it contains both sh2 and se corn genotypes. The sh2 genes provide exceptional sweetness while the se genes make the kernels nice and tender. This is a high-yielding variety with plants that average 88" tall. The ears have a uniform tip fill with kernels extending all the way to the tip of the ear. Because it contains supersweet kernels, this variety holds well after harvesting and will remain sweet for 10 days in cold storage. This is a great variety for fresh market or backyard gardens and tastes great on the cob or creamed.
