A mild snaffle bit which on some horses can be more comfortable than a loose ring snaffle as the rings cannot move and pinch the corners of the mouth. The cheek is fixed in relatio n to the mouthpiece, providing an element of lateral control - assisting in turning. As the cheeks are fixed in relation to the mouthpiece, mobility is reduced which can be advantageous in horses than have very active mouths, although can reduce sensitivity. Show more
