KMC was the first chain manufacturer to develop special chains for e-bikes with mid-mounted motors. Our analysis of the power transmission on e-bikes with a mid-motor showed that t he frequent shifting operations under load require significantly higher safety reserves that cannot be realized with classic chains. Now, we are happy to introduce our new eGlide chains that are compatible with Shimano's LinkGlide system allowing you to upgrade your chain and shifting performance with KMC strength and technologies.
