They have been created for us by Turath, an Egyptian company founded with the aim of pres erving traditional handicrafts and providing artisans with a fair wage and means to sell their products. In Arabic, 'turath' means heritage or inheritance, and signifies the importance of handing down cultural practices from one generation to the next.
