The Rear Control Kit creates a dedicated operating point at the back of the camera, providing greater control and comfort when working with EasyRig systems, support arms, on dollies, and various other camera builds. In many suspended camera configurations, operators naturally reach for the battery, battery plate, or rear of the camera body to guide movement. While effective, these contact points were never designed as operator interfaces and often result in compromised ergonomics and inconsistent camera control. The Rear Control Kit solves this problem by establishing an adjustable rear control handle positioned exactly where operators need it. Using a Bolt-On Rosette, 2" Extension, Rosette Pivot, and ODI Rosette Handgrip, the kit creates a highly configurable operating solution that can be tailored to individual shooting styles and camera setups. Unlike traditional Hollywood Handles, which typically offer a tool required adjustment along a single axis, the Rosette Pivot introduces an additional axis of rotation. This allows the handle to be positioned not only left or right of the camera, but also forward or rearward, enabling operators to fine-tune the grip location for improved leverage, comfort, and control. The offset created by the extension provides additional clearance from the camera body while improving rotational control during handheld operation. Whether guiding a camera suspended from an EasyRig, operating from a high-angle position, or building a custom handheld configuration, the Rear Control Kit delivers a purpose-built control point that enhances stability and reduces operator fatigue.
