Bridge Wireless Alarms to Your Existing Fire Panel System The Ei413 RadioLINK Panel Interface Module solves a common challenge in fire safety: integrating modern wireless alarm technology with traditional hardwired fire alarm and security panels. Instead of replacing your entire system, this compact interface module enables seamless two-way communication between your existing panel and wireless Aico RadioLINK devices. How It Works The Ei413 acts as a translator between two different safety systems. It decodes 'Fire', 'Carbon Monoxide' and fault signals from RadioLINK devices and activates the Panel accordingly, and will also work the other way, activating the domestic alarms if it receives a signal from the Panel. This bidirectional communication ensures your entire property responds as one integrated system. Signal Recognition & Relay Switching When an alarm triggers, the module doesn't just pass generic signals—it identifies exactly what type of hazard has been detected. The module will decode a 'Fire', 'Carbon Monoxide' and fault signals from RadioLINK devices and activate the Panel accordingly. The unit has three sets (Normally Open, Normally Closed and Common) of built-in wiring contacts for connection to the panel (rated at 30V @1 Amp). On the contacts closing, the unit will (dependent on which set of contacts are connected) indicate a fire, CO leak or fault to the panel. Simple Installation with Minimal Panel Modifications Unlike complex system replacements, the Ei413 requires no extensive rewiring. It is designed for surface mounting or can be fitted into certain alarm panels provided the casing is not a metallic construction which may restrict RF signals. The module is powered either directly from the Panel System or from an external source. With a standard voltage requirement of 11 to 30VDC, it integrates with most existing panel setups without requiring dedicated power supplies. Robust Radio Mesh Network The Ei413 uses advanced radio transceiver technology with unique software coding to transmit, receive and repeat the RadioLINK RF protocol. This ensures a robust "mesh" of RF signals and reliable paths of communication. The module operates on the 868MHz band in accordance with R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC, a frequency designated specifically for security products, minimizing interference from other devices. Compliance & Standards The Ei413 is conformant to EN300220-1 (RF Performance) in accordance with EN300220-2 and EN301489-1 (EMC) referencing EN301489-3. This ensures your system meets required European standards for RF performance and electromagnetic compatibility. Efficient Power Consumption Designed for reliability without excess power draw, the unit has a current rating of 15mA (Standby), 60mA (Alarm Max). This low power consumption means minimal impact on your panel's power budget, even during continuous operation. The Ei413 is ideal for: Properties with existing hardwired fire alarm panels that need modern wireless capability Facilities where cabling installation is impractical or costly Hybrid systems combining traditional and wireless detection Buildings requiring compliance with fire safety standards while maintaining existing infrastructure
