The EK1100-0008, crafted by renowned automation systems producer, Beckhoff Automation, affords quality services for Motion Control, I/Os, and iPCs. This EtherCAT coupler links Beck hoff EtherCAT terminals (ELxxxx or ESxxxx) to external EtherCAT networks, facilitating automation processes. Unlike the EK1100, this model replaces 2 RJ45 ports with 2 M8 sockets on the left side, in sync with EtherCAT-Boxes' direct cable compatibility. The upper M8 socket executes connections with existing EtherCAT networks, and the lower one with additional systems on the same network. A maximum distance of 100 meters can be facilitated through at least an EtherCAT CAT-5 cable. Along with its size of 44 (W) x 100 (H) x 68 (D) mm and weighing around 105 grams, the coupler ensures power transmission to station terminals.
