The EK1300 is an EtherCAT P coupler created by Beckhoff, a leading manufacturer in the automation industry. The EK1300 can operate independently or as part of a comprehensive control system. It uses Beckhoff's EtherCAT terminals in its EtherCAT P network, which combines power and communication into a single 4-wire ethernet cable. This EK1300 model integrates the power supply and communication line, removing the need for an extra power supply. It uses EtherCAT P 24 V for US and UP with a maximum current of 3 A per US and UP. Weighing in at approximately 175g, the coupler can function efficiently between 0˚C to 55˚C and at a relative humidity of 95%, sans condensation. It is shock-resistant, has vibration patterns in compliance with EN 60068-2, and boasts a protection classification of IP 20. Mountable on a 35 mm rail aligned with EN 60715, it also features built-in distributed clocks for synchronized operation with multiple connected devices. This EK1300 model is CE approved.
