Ekko's resistance became known as the Firelights, and he took on leadership of the organization. Many of his friends and loved ones died to ensure the Firelights' freedom, so Ekko is determined to honor their sacrifices by ensuring his Firelights live happy, safe lives; even if they must overcome many hardships. Nevertheless, he mourns their deaths and memorialized everyone the Firelights lost in a mural at their hideout.
