The EL7031 EtherCAT Terminal, produced by Beckhoff, functions to directly connect a variety of compact, two-phase small stepper motors. The terminal supports a resolution of approximately 5000 positions, has a typical E-bus current consumption of 120mA and provides electrical isolation of 500V between the E-bus and field potential. The EL7031 utilizes 3 spring-loaded power contacts with distinct voltages and employs a Cage Clamp wiring system with an 8-9mm stripping length.
