ELA-22287-2 ELA-22287-2 is a cotton poplin fabric for makers, small brands and sewing studios that want more than a generic base fabric. It suits projects where the material has to support the cut, the styling and the final use of the garment, so the result feels planned from the beginning. What can you sew with it? It is a strong option for shirts, blouses, shirt dresses, gathered skirts, pyjamas, children’s clothing, aprons, pillowcases and small accessories. These are the kinds of projects where the fabric choice is visible in the finished piece: in the way the garment sits, how it frames the body and how naturally it fits into a wardrobe or a small collection. How does it work in a design? The blue grey and white geometric print design gives the finished piece a clear visual direction, so even a simple pattern can look thoughtful and complete. The effect is a tidy, fresh and easy-to-read shape where the print, colour or cut can take the lead, which makes the fabric useful for both individual sewing projects and repeatable product ideas. When is it the right choice? Choose it when the project needs a clean woven surface and a result that looks polished without being too formal. It is the kind of fabric that helps a project feel more finished: the design looks clearer, the styling direction is easier to understand and the final piece has a stronger reason to exist.
