Elderflowers contain flavonoids that are known to have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin, roses contain antioxidants and have astringent properties creating the perfect balance for nourishing dry skin, yet gentle enough for acne prone skin, redness, and inflammation. We then add: Red Raspberry Seed Oil: High in ellagic acid which may help reduce scarring, also contains anti-bacterial properties. Seabuckthorn oil: High in linolic acid, may strengthen the lipid barrier of the epidermis in dry skin.
