Lovecraft Remnants of a distant civilisation, Elder Things are oddly shaped entities that landed on a scattering of planets millions of years in the past. Found in the blackest depths of oceans, trapped in glacial sheets of ice or buried in forgotten caverns, they are often discovered as fossils or in a deep slumber mistaken for death. Standing at seven foot in height with ridged, winged barrel-like bodies, each end of an Elder Thing’s form is a mass of tentacles and eyestalks. In rare circumstances where they awaken from their death-like hibernation, Elder Things are confronted with a world cold and confusing to them, often turning them violently upon their discoverers. This multi-part resin kit produces two 32mm Scale Elderthing. It consists of 24 parts and 2 bases and comes unassembled and unpainted. We recommend that you use superglue (following the manufacture's safety procedures) to attach the model to the base. It has been 3D printed using a semi-rigid modelling resin. This means that the model compares favourably to the impact resistant of injection moulded model kits and is far less brittle than traditional resin 3D prints. All the models have had their supports removed and have been post cured making them ready to be glued onto the base and painted; however, if you wish to remove any additional artifacts from the manufacturing process or model and kit-bash your model, it can be cut and scraped with a craft knife just like a styrene model. If you are to sand or file the model we do recommend that you wear respiratory protection and do so in a well-ventilated area.
