The IoT:bit is an expansion board designed for IoT applications with the micro:bit. It features an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module for connectivity and communicates with the micro:bit via a serial port. Additionally, it extends all available IO ports from the micro:bit using GVS connectors, allowing you to integrate various 3V E-block components such as LEDs, light sensors, and servos. The board also includes a built-in buzzer for sound output and an onboard RTC clock for timekeeping, even without a power supply.
